Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take sick kids? No. If your child has been ill with fever, vomiting and/or diarrhea within 24 hours of their appointment PLEASE do not send them to MMO. Call us and reschedule. We hope they feel better soon!
What is the maximum number of kids you have per session? There are no more than six kids per session. This amount depends on the age of the children booked that day. For example, if I know I have four 1 year old children coming in one morning, I may not fill my other two slots. That way I know those children who need a little more attention will be getting it!
Can my child stay all day? Sorry, no. MMO is set up in two 3 hour sessions. If you have no other option, you can sign your child up for both sessions, but they will have to be picked up before noon and returned at 1:00, since we are not operating during the hours of 12 and 1:00 and would not have any care for your child.
Can my child come every day? We'd love to see your child every day! However, due to state laws no child can be in occasional care for more than 8 hours per week.
What is the discount for siblings? Charge for the first child is $20, second child is $15. If you have more than two children that need to be dropped off, dependent on the age and availability additional discounts may be taken.
How far in advance do I need to book an appointment? This varies. Some days are booked solid for months, other days may have two or three openings. Our suggestion is to book as early as you know you need care. If you are having a rough morning and need to take a break this afternoon, shoot us a call...we may have space in our afternoon session! This can't be guaranteed, but it's worth a shot. Like we always say, "Mommies need naps too!"
My mom's group is thinking of grabbing a coffee close by, do you do group discounts? Sure thing! Give me a call and we can work it out!
Can dads use MMO too? Of course!! We know full well that there are many single and stay at home dads out there. Our service is open to EVERYONE with a child under the age of five. We just really liked the name Mom's Morning Out. ;)
Are you a nut free facility? Yes, we are! Due to the nature of the allergy it is very important to us that we do not bring peanuts into our facility. Snack is provided and all snacks are peanut free. If you would like to bring in your child's own snack, please feel free to do so, but make sure that there are no peanuts in it, for the safety of our friends.
